Black and Whites at Puddlejumpers

Here are some of the portraits taken at Puddlejumpers a week ago. The kids had a great time and one little boy asked when we could do it again. I look forward to the next event in March. For that event half of the profits will be going to LemonAid to pay for girls in China to go to high school. For more information on LemonAid go to www.lemonaidmovie.com.

Criehaven ME

I wanted to share some photos from one of my favorite places. This is an island and hour lobster boat ride off of Rockland, ME. The majority of the few people on the island are lobster folk and their families. Its a great place to let the kids run free. We spend a week in rubber boots hiking around and eating because there is nothing else you can do. There is no electricity or phones on the island. There is a solar panel for lights at night that is attached to my aunts house. A walk down the beach to the community well is how you get drinking and dishes water. It's the old drop the bucket in system.  Can't wait to go back again next year. Thanks for the ride Buzzy!!!

Wedding In Spain

I Just got back from doing a beautiful wedding in Spain. I had a whirl wind trip with little to no sleep many nights, literally. The wedding was in a mountain top village six hours north of Madrid. Weddings in Spain start at 6pm and end at 6:30am (at least thats when I gave up). After the wedding reception there is an after party that looks more like New Orleans than a wedding. Everyone wears hats and silly wigs, very cool. I was in this village for a couple days then to Madrid for more days than expected. I was able to go out in Madrid the night Spain won the cup, so that was an experience too. The Spanish are VERY proud of their soccer team. Yes I chose to wear my 25lb camera bag in 100 degree heat walking around Madrid, again not one of my better choices. I'm glad to be home but thankful for the adventure too.

4 more girls go to high school

For those of you still wondering what ever happened with the Puddlejumpers Easter fund raiser here is your answer. With the great turn out, we were able to send 4 girls to high school in China! I am very happy with the results of the day. I hope everyone who came and participated thinks of the happiness they caused whenever they look at their pictures. I will be doing the same fund raiser next year and hoping to increase the amount of girls we send to school who otherwise would not be able to go. Put it on your calendars for next year and tell your friends.
Thanks !!!
